What our stakeholders say about Us

In the field of education, everything is changing very fast. In such a scenario, the new ideas and new material that Neev Shikshan Sanstha has introduced to the teachers are very helpful. The children love using their resources and they enjoy playing and learning at the same time - something which is so necessary in today's world.

Ami Patel Principal, TR Patel Vidyalaya

"There are two children that I want to mention, Maheer and Naitik, who were both very shy and reserved when they came to the aanganwadi and used to cry a lot. Ever since these learning corners have been established, it seems like they have found their voice and creativity and are completely changed individuals now."

Anjanaben Makwana Aanganwadi teacher, Vadodara

"The activity you have been doing with the kids has really increased their self-confidence" - Parents

    Digital Competencies sessions

The digital divide arising from lack of reliable information, infrastructure and digital literacy is a major cause of social and economic backwardness. Most mobile and Internet users in India live in urban areas, while we know that 67 percent of the total population of India lives in rural areas. Although this transition from blackboards to electronic gadgets in rural India has a number of hurdles, this will open a new arena to put more things through online modes with tailor-made content. It will help in reaching out to students, irrespective of lockdown, curfew or any natural calamity. This outreach will not only serve as a learning platform but also as essential information-sharing and awareness generation.
Crises and emergencies like the COVID-19 pandemic have brutally highlighted how access to internet and connectivity has become an inalienable right to life. Internet infrastructural support and access to information continue to be crucial in supporting our underserved populations in these critical times.

"We need to realise that Socio-Emotional learning is not an 'and' that will come at the expense of our academic work. It's an 'and' that allows us to build on our academic work and progress"

We together put this Comprehensive Session on Socio-Emotional Learning.

    #WorksheetsDistribution

    Worksheets distribution

In the situation of the pandemic parents have to play three roles in their Households, a caretaker, a teacher and a professional, simultaneously without skipping a beat. The intensity of pressure that one deals with in such trying times is enough for a breakdown, but these people keep churning themselves, motivated by only one goal; the growth and happiness of their young.

Learning in a situation like this is tough for children and even tougher for parents as they may or may not have the funds to invest in the early education of their child, for we live in an era where education is rapidly turning into a business. In the wake of disruption, disparity and dearth, exists a silver lining. Organizations like Neev Shikshan Sanstha where in they have constructed a response strategy (सीखो निरंतर) in order to bring education to those children who do not have access to the internet. Such organisations not only cater to young children but keep the pillars that a child leans on during their formative years exceptionally strong; the parents & teachers.
Shyam, a student of grade 2, resident of Lanchhanpura, Savli, Vadodara has been actively engaging with our worksheets through his parents' support.
